Helcim is committed to providing our merchants, our customers, and ours visitors with a website that respect their privacy. This page summarizes the privacy policy and practices for all of Helcim website's divisions. The Helcim website does not automatically gather any personal information from you, such as your name, phone number, or e-mail address. This information is only obtained if you provide it voluntarily, through contacting us or using one of our services, such as the online shopping cart.

Information Collected Automatically Via The Internet

The Helcim web server logs capture computer information, navigation and click-stream data such as http requests. Some of the information collected does not identify who you are. Information Collected For Helcim Services

To open a Helcim Merchant account, you will be asked provide us with specific information about yourself and your business. Some of this information may be shared with a third-party, such as a credit check bureau. For more information about how your information is used, please read the Helcim Merchant agreement.

When purchasing goods from a Helcim Merchants, buyers will be asked to enter billing and shipping information in order to complete their transaction. Some of this information, such as credit card number, is transmitted to third-parties such as processing gateways and VisaNET. Helcim, as a Visa and MasterCard service provider, meets and upholds all PCI security standards required to safely process your online information.

Buyer Information Accessible By Merchants

If you are buying goods or services through a Helcim Merchant, shipping and billing information such as address, phone number, and email will be accessible to merchants in order for them to successfully complete the transaction and ship out your order. Helcim Merchants are not allowed to use this information to market their services.

Merchant Information Accessible By Buyers

Buyers browsing through a Helcim Merchant website or the Helcim Market place will have access to a certain amount of information about the merchant. This information includes product information, shipping and tax rates, delivery, return and refund policies and merchant business contact information. Helcim Merchants participating in the Helcim Market will also be asked to display additional information to buyers, such as store descriptions and logos.

Security of Stored Information

Helcim is committed to handling your information with high standards of information security. We use computer safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption, we enforce physical access controls to our buildings and files, and we authorize access to personal information only to employees who need to know that information in order to fulfill their job responsibilities.

The security of your Helcim account also relies on your protection of your password. You may not share your account password with anyone. If you believe someone else has obtained access to your password, please change it immediately by logging in to your account changing your Account settings, and also contact us right away to inform us of the breach. Helcim will never ask you to send your password or other sensitive information to us in an e-mail.

Any e-mail or other communication requesting your password, asking you to provide sensitive account information via email, or linking to a website with a URL that does not begin with https://secure.helcim.com/ should be treated as unauthorized and suspicious and should be reported to Helcim immediately.
