Step 1 - Options First

The first thing you should do is click on the "Store Options" menu item on top. It is important that you customize your store's options before allowing customers to make purchases. Here are some things that should be adjusted right-away:

• Shipping Allowances
  Select your shipping range by country and region.
  
  
• Shipping Fees
  Create shipping methods and assign each of them costs.
  
  
• Taxes
  Enter the taxes that your business is subject to.
  
  

You should also create a store description, upload your logo and generate e-commerce policies for your business. Visit the "Details and Logo" page to make these changes.

Step 2 - Product Catalogue

Your store revolves around its catalogue and the products within it. To start adding new products, visit the new products section.

In order for your products to be categorized and represented accurately, you should first create categories for your store's catalogue, as well as brands if you are selling products from various manufacturers. For more advanced users, you can also create options groups and specifications for each of these products.

Step 3 - Coupons

Everyone likes receiving discounts when shopping. The Helcim Virtual Store allows you to create a multiple of promotions for your store.

The first thing you should do it make changes to your store's "After Checkout Coupon", which can generate coupons for your customers when they checkout to increase your return business.

Step 4 - Creating a "Buy Button"

The buy button link generator lets you generate HTML links that can be copied and pasted on your website. Once clicked, these links will automatically add a specific product to your customer's shopping cart.

First you must select the product that you wish to generate a buy button for. If this product as options enabled, a list of options will appear below. Preselecting the product's options is optional but recommended. A button image will be set by default, but a new one can be chosen by clicking on "Show Buttons" and selecting a new one.

The generated HTML code is automatically re-generated with every new select, and can now simply be copy to your website.

Step 5 - Your First Sale

You will be notified of new orders by email or when you login to your store. The order's complete details will be displayed in the "Orders" section, as well as your complete order's history.
