Welcome back to the Helcim Vlog! You’ve probably noticed that it has been a while since we last released an episode. As we’ve eluded to in previous episodes, there are a lot of big projects happening behind the scenes at Helcim. These projects have been requiring my full attention, so I had to make the decision to pull back on the frequency of the vlog while we work towards our big goals.
But we don’t want to end the vlog entirely, we still want to share updates and milestones with you when we have something to share. So, we’ve dusted off the camera equipment to share an update.
Back in Vlog #31 we talked about the next step in Helcim’s evolution, we had to talk about what was coming next in really vague terms in that vlog, and unfortunately, we’re still not able to share any specifics about what the team has been so hard at work on. This is frustrating for me as I like to share everything that Helcim is up to and be as transparent as possible. But while decisions are being made and contracts are being negotiated, I can’t give away too much...yet.
What I can say is that over the past year we’ve been listening to our merchants as they shared feedback about Helcim Commerce and we’re currently working on Helcim Commerce 2.0. While we’ve made incremental improvements throughout the year based on the feedback we’ve received, behind the scenes, we’ve been working on a big version upgrade that, among other things, will include a new and improved mobile app.
Helping with this exciting update is Helcim’s newest Team Member Sarah, she joined the team as our new Product Manager to coordinate all of the feedback we receive and work with the Development Team to bring it all together.
