Frequently Asked Questions
What bank account can I use to receive my funds?
You can use any bank account provided by a Canadian financial institution or credit union.
Can I use a personal bank account?
Sole proprietors can use a personal bank account. Incorporated businesses and partnerships are required to use a business bank account.
How long does it take for funds to appear in my bank account?
If you are banking with TD, Canada Trust, Bank of Montreal, Royal Bank, Scotiabank or National Bank, your funds should appear in your account the next business day. Other banks and credit unions can take up to two business days. The earlier you settle, the faster you receive a deposit. Transactions processed over the weekend are deposited the next business day.
What if I’m processing in USD?
You will need to provide a void check for a USD bank account from a Canadian financial institution. USD fund settlements take two to three business days in Canada.
When are fees removed from my account?
All processing and monthly fees are collected on the first day of the following month (depending when the weekend falls). By making a request, you can also have your merchant account set to "net settlements" so fees are removed before the settlement appears in your bank account.
