Helcim offers merchant accounts in CAD or USD core currencies. Merchants wishing to charge their customers in U.S. Dollars will need to have a bank account in USD funds with a Canadian banking institution. Their customers will then be charged in USD and processed funds will be deposited daily to their bank account, eliminating any losses due to currency conversions.
Merchants wishing to offer their customers the option of both CAD and USD processing will require an additional currency merchant account. Transactions in each currency will be deposited in each individual bank account accordingly.
