Before a business can accept card payments, payment processors need to confirm the business is legitimate. This protects your business from fraud, chargebacks, and ensures compliance with Mastercard and Visa’s rules.

Why we ask

Financial regulations require payment processors to verify the identity of business owners. This is not a hard credit check and won’t affect your credit score. For non-profit organizations,  please provide the details above for the most permanent point of contact with management authority (e.g., a CEO or Director).

What happens after you submit your application?

Once you hit submit, our team reviews your application. Most applications are approved within one business day.

After approval, you can immediately:

  • Explore your Helcim dashboard
  • Link your bank account
  • Send invoices
  • Order payment hardware
  • Set up a subscription or payment plan
  • Start accepting payments

Note

Because your account is new, we may request additional info during onboarding and deposits may take slightly longer while we review early transactions.
