Tap to Pay on iPhone uses the built-in security and privacy features of iPhone to help protect your business and customer data. When a payment is processed, Apple doesn’t store card numbers on iPhone or on Apple servers. So merchants and customers can rest assured that their data stays theirs.
With Tap to Pay on iPhone, you can accept any form of contactless payment, including Apple Pay on iPhone and Apple Watch, other digital wallet and payment services, and contactless debit and credit cards.

To get started, sign up for a Helcim account and download the free Helcim Point of Sale app. Once the app is installed, tap the ≡ More option in the bottom navigation bar. Then, go to Settings > Merchant Account Settings > Tap to Pay on iPhone, and select Enable Now. For step-by-step guidance, please refer to our full instructions here.
Tap to Pay on iPhone is available for merchants using an iPhone XS or later and running the latest version of iOS.
Tap to Pay on iPhone requires a supported payment app and the latest version of iOS. Update to the latest version by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Tap Download and Install.
