Calgary's Growing Tech Company

I had an exciting week!

In between busy days at the office as we continue to work on exciting updates behind the scenes, I got to attend the Entrepreneur Of The Year Prairies Awards Gala as a finalist in the Technology Category.

It was an honor to attend the event alongside over 1,000 other people who are advocates for the entrepreneurial community and the 47 other finalists from all different industries. There's a great entrepreneurial spirit in Calgary and across the prairies, and it was evident in the passion and support everyone had for each other last night.

Entrepreneur of The Year Praries

I was selected as the Entrepreneur Of The Year Prairies Technology overall category winner and the award was a great testament to how far Helcim has come over the past ten years.

Entrepreneurship is a team effort, and it is the hard work, long hours, and passion that the Helcim team brings to work every day that helped get us to where we are today.

Being nominated for things like this or nominating myself or Helcim for any type of recognition, makes me a bit uncomfortable. I prefer to put my head down and focus on the big things that the team is working on rather than talking about our achievements and successes. But this event and the award were a reminder to celebrate the small things and that Helcim has come a really long way since we first started.

We have a pretty amazing team at Helcim, and that's why we're going to keep building an amazing company together. Thanks to everybody for your continued support!
