Merchants of Helcim - Zoran Dobric

We launched our Merchants of Helcim series to showcase some of our merchants and get to know their stories. We're so proud to be able to provide payment and software solutions for a wide range of businesses across many different industries, and this series gives us an opportunity to introduce some of the great people that we get to work with every day.

For this episode of Merchants of Helcim, We sat down with Zoran Dobric, a Toronto based fashion designer, as he works on an upcoming fashion show for his Fall/Winter 2019 season and a pop-up store at Toronto Fashion Week.

Zoran's collection focuses primarily on women's wear with bold prints and designs that he develops himself using illustrator and photoshop. This season will also see a focus on embroidery being used throughout the different pieces. He has even used real, vintage human hair on one of his statement pieces!

To reach more customers across Canada and abroad, Zoran uses Helcim for his online store and ecommerce sales. As a niche designer, the ability to reach more customers in different regions and countries is very beneficial for Zoran and allows him to expand his customer base beyond just his local hub. He describes Helcim's online store as being amazingly easy to use and that the sleek aesthetic aligns well with his fashion brand.

Beyond helping Zoran reach a wider audience, Helcim's online store also gives him the flexibility to update the products featured on his website himself as his collection gets updated, a benefit that Zoran says he enjoys about the Helcim experience.
