How it works with Helcim
This integration replaces Jane’s built-in payment processor and helps clinics reduce fees while improving workflow efficiency. It allows payments to be taken directly inside Jane, syncing them to Helcim for reporting and deposits. Payments processed through Jane’s interface use Helcim’s hosted, secure fields. Only Helcim-processed transactions update automatically, and refunds or adjustments made outside Jane may require manual updates. Payment currency must match your Helcim account.
Requirements
Setup
Create a free Helcim account. If you already have one, you can skip this step.
Install the Helcim Payment Extension to your browser from the Chrome Store.
Follow the guide that appears after downloading the extension. It will prompt you to log in to your Helcim account to sync the extension, and then select a currency.
If you have a Card Reader Gen 3 or Smart Terminal, you can pair it by copy-pasting your 4-digit device code onto your Payment Extensions tab in Jane App.
Go to Settings in your Jane app, then under Billing select Payment Methods and click New Payment Method. Enter “Helcim Payment” for both the Display Name and Internal Name, select a location if needed, and click Create Payment Method. This ensures invoices are reconciled correctly.
